Mr. Lambert Recognized as FCPS 2020 Region 5 Outstanding Secondary Teacher
Congratulations to JROTC Air Force Senior Instructor Tim Lambert who was recognized as the FCPS 2020 Region 5 Outstanding Secondary Teacher and one of five finalists for the 2020 Outstanding Seconary Teacher Award!
Tim greatly enjoys teaching Air Force Junior ROTC since retiring from the Air Force. His teaching focuses on character development, leadership, teamwork, and communication. Respect for all people is at the heart of his instruction. Cadets know his class is a safe place to try, and that it's okay to make a mistake. His classes stretch cadets to achieve more than they think possible. Much of AFJROTC is led by the cadets themselves. They learn that with authority comes responsibility, and that leadership is about serving others. The cadets develop positive relationships and often describe the class as "Family". He is very proud of his cadets and is honored to have the opportunity to serve them.
