The Auto Collision and Refinishing Service Program is a three-year program designed to give a complete overview of the Auto Collision/Refinishing Service Industry. Level 1 is a one credit class and Levels 2 & 3 are two-credit classes. 10th graders and above can enroll in Auto Collision 1. Students are introduced to all areas of the industry with emphasis on safety, proper procedure, and quality workmanship. Students gain the skills and knowledge needed to obtain entry-level employment in this field.
The curriculum and laboratory practices defined by the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) includes working with fiberglass, metals, plastics, automotive refinish products, welding, and other composites.
