Fairfax County Student Firefighting Program

In this 4-credit course available for rising seniors---students train along side professional firefighters from Fairfax County Fire & Rescue at their facilities on West Ox Road.  Learn what it takes to safely become part of a career deemed as one of the most dangerous in the world!  Students practice skills necessary to successfully fight live fires, address hazardous material incident, and conduct search and rescue operations, and vehicle extractions.  

Students also gain professional certifications!
