Hollie Byer was born and raised in Maryland. She received her B.S. in psychology with a concentration in developmental psychology at George Mason University. While at GMU she played Division 1 soccer for the Patriots. After graduating Hollie earned her Master’s in counseling at Johns Hopkins University. While at Johns Hopkins,  Hollie conducted her internship experience at both the elementary and high school levels at Bushy Park elementary in Howard County and Westminster and Francis Scott Key High Schools in Carroll County. Additionally, Hollie has served as a long term substitute school counselor at Hayfield Elementary school for FCPS. Hollie loves hiking and spending time with her family. She is looking forward to working with staff, students, and families!  Welcome Ms. Byer!  We know that you will be a great asset to the students and Chantilly Academy!
