Mr. Scott Setter Named Chantilly Academy Administrator

a photo of scott settarMr. Scott Settar was recently named the administrator for Chantilly Academy. Mr. Settar holds a B.S. in Integrated Science and Technology from James Madison University, a M.S. in Occupational and Technical Studies from Old Dominion University, and a M.Ed from the American College of Education. Prior to joining the Chantilly Governors STEM Academy, Mr. Stettar was the STEAM Integration Program Manager for FCPS, leading K-12 STEM/STEAM based programs across the school district.

As a teacher, Mr. Settar was recognized as the Teacher of the Year for West Springfield High School and his engineering program was recognized as the top program in Virginia and one of the top programs internationally by the International Technology Education and Engineering Association. Prior to teaching, Mr. Settar worked as an environmental scientist for an international environmental consulting and construction firm.
