The Dining-Out is an exciting annual event for our Chantilly Academy AFJROTC cadets, instructors, their families, and special guests. It is held every fall to celebrate the start of the new school year and to bring together members of the unit in an atmosphere of camaraderie, good fellowship, and social rapport.

The Dining-Out event represents the most formal aspects of Air Force social life. The cadets worked very hard to plan the event which hosted over 500 total guests.  In preparation for the event, a lesson in appropriate dining etiquette as well as professional social interaction was planned for students.  The event was a wonderful way to honor the students and instructors on their hard-work, dedication, leadership, and recognize individual and group achievements.
