Just in time for the holidays, students from the Chantilly Academy Cosmetology program worked with a local non-profit called, She Believes in Me to invite women and children into the salon for shampoo, cut, and style. The Cosmetology instructor, Mr. Wayne White invited former students and other local salon stylists from the community to perform this wonderful service. With a packed salon, students and stylists set out to make a memorable evening for the guests. 

The non-profit serves elementary age girls and families facing a wide variety of challenges on a daily basis. With the focus of "encourage, empower and inspire girls to believe in themselves, find their voices and pursue their dreams," this was the perfect event for both the Cosmetology students and the families served. The evening event hosted at Chantilly Academy included food, activities, and of course, getting pampered in the salon.  The event was a great success and we are proud of the instructor, students, and stylists that made the community service happen.
