Pharmacy Technician
Courses
High School Credits: Level 1-1 credit, Level 2- 2 credits
The three-credit Pharmacy Technician course incorporates both classroom and clinical pharmacy experiences. Clinical pharmacy experiences include a four week internship with a national retail pharmacy chain. The student will be given the opportunity to meet state pharmacy technician competencies as well as be exposed to the larger arena of pharmacy careers. The course fulfills requirements enabling the student to earn two pharmacy technician certifications.
